However, we do not store credit card numbers in our system. All payments are processed securely by PayPal or Stripe.

Account signup
To create an account and access our services, we ask for certain information such as your name, contact number, email address, company name, and country. You will also need to select a unique username and password for your account. Providing additional information such as your photo, time zone, and language is optional and not required for account creation.
Payment
To purchase something from us, we require your name, contact information, and credit card or payment account information. When you provide your card details, we store the name and address of the cardholder, the expiration date, and the last four digits of the credit card number. We do not store the full credit card number. All payment transactions are processed in accordance with PCI DSS standards to ensure security and compliance.

Service data

This data is referred to as service data and you are the owner of it. We take steps to protect your service data, limit access to it, and only process it based on your instructions. You have the ability to access, share, export, or request the deletion of your service data through third-party integrations. We process your service data when you give us instructions through various modules of our services. For example, when you create an invoice using our invoicing service, we will use information such as the name and address of your customer to generate the invoice. When you use our campaign management service for email marketing, we will use the email addresses on your mailing list to send the emails.
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the services. Backups are kept for up to 30 days. Inactive accounts may be deleted after 9 months. You will be notified twice before account deletion. Backups of deleted accounts are retained for disaster recovery purposes for up to 30 days and then permanently erased.
Once an account is terminated, all user data and personal information will be permanently deleted from active and backup systems.
As a resident of the European Economic Area, you have the right to request certain actions from us regarding your data if you believe it has been entrusted to us for processing by someone else. To exercise these rights, please reach out to the person or company that entrusted your data to us and we will work with them to fulfill your request.

GDPR
QuintaDB complies with standing international regulation regarding privacy and security issues including GDPR. Protecting our users data privacy is extremely important to us. As an online service, QuintaDB set high standards for security. Our cloud service use Hetzner, Hetzner is a GDPR-compliant hosting provider based in the European Union and certified according to ISO/IEC 27001 standards. QuintaDB comply with E.U. Data protection laws regarding international data transfer mechanisms. All QuintaDB’s data is encrypted using a highly secure version of SSL/TLS with strong ciphers. We collect only the necessary information for the service operation (contact information, email address, ip). And also keep it until the user continues to use the service.
We maintain daily encrypted backups stored in the EU. Backups are retained for up to 30 days for disaster recovery purposes and are automatically deleted afterward.
All user data is stored in the European Union. For users outside the EU, data transfers are conducted under GDPR-compliant safeguards to ensure equivalent data protection.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. These rights apply to all users worldwide.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Backups are securely stored for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted.
Inactive accounts may be deleted after 9 months of inactivity, following two prior email notifications.

All third-party service providers that process data on behalf of QuintaDB have signed Data Processing Agreements that ensure compliance with the GDPR. We regularly review their security measures and limit data sharing to the minimum necessary for service delivery.
Security
At QuintaDB, we prioritize data security. We have implemented appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, or destruction of the information you entrust to us. Each user at registration receives a login and password. In interests of the user we do not inform third parties about the password. These safeguards help to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data.
We use a SSL encryption by default for all accounts. We store information at Hetzner cloud (Germany) - it's the best cloud hosting provider in the world. All data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest on Hetzner servers. We create daily backups to ensure the security and protection of your data. Also, you can back up your data yourself applying user based backup options.
All user passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt or Argon2).

Deleting your account and personal data
To completely and permanently delete personal data, go to the "Account" menu, the "Other" tab and click on the "Delete my account" link at the bottom of the page. In this way, you will delete all of your personal data and data from your applications. We store data in your account until you choose to use the QuintaDB service. You have the right to request that we delete your personal information.
After deletion, all data, including backups, are permanently erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
QuintaDB provides data processing services as defined by Article 28 of the GDPR. When you use QuintaDB to process data of third parties (for example, your customers or employees), QuintaDB acts as a Data Processor, and you act as a Data Controller.
The terms of data processing are governed by this Privacy Policy and form an integral part of your agreement with QuintaDB. Upon request, QuintaDB can provide a signed Data Processing Agreement compliant with Article 28 GDPR.
